23 year-old Anuj Bidve brutally murdered on Boxing Day in Manchester.
Police investigating the brutal shooting of Indian student Anuj Bidve in an apparently motiveless attack are now investigating the possibility that the murder was racially motivated and a hate crime.

In a speech in Oxford on the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible, the prime minister called for a revival of traditional Christian values to counter Britain’s “moral collapse”. He said “live and let live” had too often become “do what you please”. The speech has alarming echoes of his earlier address at the Munich security conference where he asserted the primacy of mono-culturalism and assimilation as a bulwark against security threats facing the UK in which Muslims were primarily implicated.
