Child B is apprehended after landing in Dover. He is subjected to something called a “welfare interview” and asked “Are you in any pain?” Yes, he says. The little finger on his left hand is in a splint. He is bleeding from his anus. His interrogator writes that Child B has been prescribed “Petadine” by doctors in Belgium. The boy is asked if he wants to see a doctor now in Dover. Yes, he says. But he doesn’t see a doctor. That was just a question on the form.

Tom Adeyemi will be another among a long list of victims as long as the FA's fines are pathetic.

The ugly stain of racism in football has been the focus of media reports since top Premiership players such a England captain and Chelsea player John Terry and Liverpool player Luis Suarez were at the centre of racism allegations in November last year, but if the football governing body continues to hand out lenient sentences for racism it will probably never be eradicated out of football completely.
