Which side of the fence is the reader on? The side of McCain, hailed by media as a hero bomber, and all those elected and would-be-elected politicians calling for bombing of yet another small nation? Or on the side of law, the Nuremberg Principles, the General Treaty for the Renunciation of War, both integral parts of the U.S. Constitution, and a prosecute campaign? Most war-funding tax payers are sitting on this fence.

As Americans are getting up to go to work……….As they go about their daily routines, showering, breakfasting, lunching, snacking, taking their coffee breaks ………..During travel time, shopping, cooking, walking the dog…….While having fun playing with their children in the evening………..When they fall asleep at night……….They know that other Americans, inevitably some friends or family, or guys from their hometown, are desperately busy in this or that poor foreign country killing bad guys – and often enough inadvertently dispatching as well, the bad guys’ children, relatives and friends along with a lot of family of ‘good guys’.

BBC’s new Empire series should be viewed in a critical light
A new five-part BBC series about the British Empire will explore the so called ‘good’ and bad aspects of the empire, but this idea that the British Empire was somehow a force for good is an affront to the African slave trade and nations which were subjected to colonial rule by force.
